India vs Pakistan World Cup Clash

The official schedule is expected to be announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) soon, most likely after the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The BCCI, being the host, will have the final authority in determining the dates and venues, once they have obtained formal approval from all relevant parties.

However, there seem to be reservations from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding playing their crucial game against India in Ahmedabad. This is speculated to be one of the reasons why Najam Sethi, the chairman of the PCB, recently visited the ICC office in Dubai over the past few days.

As per the tentative schedule formulated thus far, Pakistan will play its matches in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru. The BCCI has allocated venues in the South Zone for most of Pakistan’s games. Chennai, known for its peaceful hosting and sporting crowd, has been awarded additional matches.

It’s worth noting that Pakistan has not been able to secure a victory against India in the World Cup, having lost all seven encounters since their first meeting in 1992. Additionally, they have not played a match on Indian soil since the 2016 T20 World Cup.
